Is there a reliable way to make the SC main wing split into two pieces so it can transported and reassembled at the flight site?
The SC wing is four feet long, too long to fit in any kind of backpack. I may be carrying my SC on my bicycle. If the wing could be split, the two wing parts and the fuselage would all be about two feet long, a length that could fit in a backpack.
Are there some RC planes with a split main wing or is this an outrageous idea?

Anything is possible. Try a combo of small cf sloid rod and some hollow cf tube that is the same I.D. as the O.D. of the rod. Then use somescotch extreme tape on both sides. Use packing tape to secure the 2 half together. The packing tape should come off the extreme tape rather easily and cheap to toss. Just keep a small roll of packing tape in your pack. I may try to make one too to see the outcome. I do a lot of 4-wheeling to fishing holes and a packable plane would be sweet! Kevin

I with you guys on this one. Ive got a Jeep Wrangler and I can usually only get 1 or 2 planes in there. It would be great to get more in there. A small velcro strap may work well on the underside so it is concealed in the fuselage. Post pics if you get it done. Good luck Moose
