Cannot post a picture - what am I doing wrong, please? I select a pic in Photobucket and copy its URL. I paste that URL into a new Reply on SCC, highlight it and click the Insert Image tab. The URL is now bracketed with IMG tags. I add some text beneath. But when I click either Preview or Post, the pic does not appear. All I get instead is a little red cross with the word 'picture'. Please help, clever people.

Hi Ian, next to the pic in photobucket should be the following.....
email & IM
Direct link
HTML code
Image Code....
click the one that says "image code" and briefly the words copied will flash up....paste this in your scc post and Roberts your mothers brother...a piccy should appear!
Good luck, John

Thank you, John, very much indeed.
Your instructions worked, no probs.
Now why weren't those simple instructions readily available here for the benefit of dumb-dumbs like me?

Thanks, Paul. The original instructions in that post didn't make sense to me. I'm sure others will benefit from your amendment.

Thanks, Paul. The original instructions in that post didn't make sense to me. That's because I didn't have clue what I was writing. LMAO ;D Johns instructions definitely make it clearer.

I used krylon fusion bought at walmart for around 5 bucks a can. I just bought two more cans for a combat wing I'm working on. It's my chirstmas present so I can't fly it until then. Doesn't mean I can't work on it!
