Hello everyone,
I just purchased some new NIMH batteries from Cheapbatterypacks and I wanted to know do In eed ot break them in, such as cycle them a few times with the charger? Any recommendations?

"For the first charge it is best to do a 10 hour charge. To figure out the rate simply take the battery capacity and divide by 10. so a 2000mah battery would need to charge @ 2000/10 = 200mah. Once you have done a slow charge you can charge at 1C. Again. using 2000mah. at 1C that would be 2000mah charge (which is the same as 2amps). You must only use a peak charger to charge your packs. If you are not sure if your charger is a peak charger then please contact the charger manufacturer. CheapBatteryPacks.com is not liable for any damages. other then that you should cycle them a few times, let them cool off in between .
