An 11.1 V 2200 mah isn't going to fit. I cut the battery box toward the front just enough to slide in an 11.1 V 2200 mah lipo vertically. It works great and I can still put in a stock battery if I need too. Just do it. The Lipo's make the Cub so much better. I can power through the wind, and take off and climb with authority.

Converted to some 1000mA 3 cell LiPos for the cub, it was well worth the money. Great power and flight times of about 10-12 min. Since then I decided to parrallel the two packs and put them in the Cub. They fit perfectly in the factory battery hold and give me 20min+ of aw-some flight time. The combined weight is just shy of a 9 cell Nm. Flight is stable and landings are excellent with the added weight for a good sticky landing. A must try for anyone looking for more fun from their cub !!
My batteries are from Absolute in Canada. Both stack one on top of the other fit perfectly in the stock tray............I couldn't beleive my eyes !!!!! Absolute 11.1V 1000mA 3Cell Lipo
