dont know if they will fit but a word of advice when ordering fron UH - dont order something that shows 0 stock - you may get it by spring if your lucky.. I did mod the box for a 2400 12c, I think I can get almost 20 min, I usually wind up doing like 20 takeoff/land just to kill time and perfect those wheel landings.

They all will work. Do not expect longer runtimes though. Thye are only 1300's. I would stay away from anything that is not 20c. Reason is that the 12c, 15c, 16c are all older packs. There is a good chance they have sat for a while. I am not sure how prolonged sitting affects them but from my exp. the 15c and alike do not perform nearly as well as the newer 20C+ packs. However they all will work.
PS I modified your post so the links would work.

Is this United Hobbies a good place to buy Lipo's?I see the prices look good. Thanks Ronzo I have just tried one of there HXT 2200 3cell and it's not good news. Motor runs for less than a minute on a supposedly full charge. Maybe it's just a rogue one. Everything else i have ordered from them has been perfect.

Hi Andy. With that 1700 you will have to cut the plastic cage that the rx/esc sits on. It's a real easy mod to do and worth it. I use 1800 packs in my cub and the good thing is, they are a good match for some of my other models.
I have not been in touch with UH yet. I have heard that they have very good customer relations.
I'm going to re-solder my connector in case i didn't do a good job the first time around.

Hi SCC. Thanks for all the help. Now that I look at it, modding the battery box doesn't seem hard at all. Does it effect the CG that much? Also, I was thinking about the Hobbico MK II for a charger. About how long would you say to charge the 1800's? One more question lol. Can anyone recommend any other lipos under about $35.00 ? Thanks in advance, Andy

Hi SCC. Now that I look at it, modding the battery box doesn't seem hard at all. Does it effect the CG that much? Andy My CG is at 2.5'' (62mm) with the 1800 in this position. When i cut the box i wanted to leave the rib in place to keep its strength. So i bridged the rib by making blocks out of depron.
