Hey guys, Not sure if any one else has seen or bought these, but I found this deal a while back, and I figured I'd give them a try. I bought two packs for $17 each. I've been using them now for a couple months, and they work great. They have almost the same output as the Elite 1500's, but are quite a bit less expensive. www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=490*NOTE TO CANADIAN BUYERS* As you will see in some of the postings below, All-Battery.com does not offer free shipping to Canada, no matter what coupon codes you enter during the placement of your order. Apparently, their shipping prices to Canada are very expensive, and their customer support people are not very helpful. So, if you're from Canada, you should probably buy your batteries elsewhere.By the way, I made this original post back on Jan 27, 2008, and I'm still using the same two batteries that I ordered from All-Battery.com without any problems.

Clipper - I just got two of those packs also and what do you charge them at? I've been doing a lot of reading and confused. HZ says 1.2A, (for stock), another spot I read said between 3-5A. My Infinity 2 charger is suppose to know on it's own and goes up to 5A at times and now I have a different charger that states; In manual Mode set the charge rate (which should be?) and in Auto mode set the current limit (which is?).
I don't know electricity well and the more I read the more confused I get. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Most are talking Lipo and I just want to do the NiMH the best I can for now.

I have a Prophet Sport NiMH charger that's capable of charging at 1, 2, or 4 amps. But I've only tried charging at the 1 and 2 amp settings. Even at 2 amps the batteries can get fairly warm.

Thanks Clipper. Didn't hear back from you so started a new thread "New charger and need NiMH 101". Had some great input from others. Charging at 1.4amps now and finally learned how to operate that new charger. Thanks again.

I'm most active in the Photos and Videos forums. I'm glad you were able to find the information you needed.

Hi cubster. The stock car charger only charges up to 7 cells. Not sure about your wall charger as we do not get that as part of the kit in Europe.
The 8cell does fit. I found lengthening the power cables that come out of the SC made it slightly easier. But not a necessity.

Awesome! Even received free shipping to Canada! Thanks for posting the promotional code. So what is roughly the amount of flight time you guys are getting out these?

Maybe SCC can answer this question - I have a charger that shows mAh while charging and the stock 7-cell ends right around 1000 mAh. I have four flights on these tenergy batteries and only get 1000 to 1100 mah. I thought they weren't broke in yet, so cycled both packs four times and still same results.
I have great run times with them and they are still worth the price, but is anyone else getting 1400 mAh on their charger? Mine is a BC-8.

I bought a couple of those packs. I didn't at that time have the ability to objectively test them. Subjectively I thought they were 80-90% of the CPB Elites for half the price. That makes them a decent value unless you really require that extra little bit. I suspect you won't do much better than what you are getting. I think the rest is marketing BS.

***WARNING***
re: ordering from AB from Canada
I have pm'ed sam about this, but to let all canucks know if ordering these;
a glitch in the shipping code online, makes shipping to CAN free,,this is NOT THE CASE
shipping to canada, code or not, is full price,,,tried to pm sam above, to see if he got his, and for how much extra?
also, AB customer support SUCKS,,ordered these, put code in, and now order is completed but they wont ship,,saying I didnt specify shipping!!! (not going to drive to calif for 2 batts folks)
also, their customer service is really S L O W
knowing NOW that these can be bought locally for about 3 $ more,,,and the fact that they dont put out all the power they mention,,,makes this MUCH LESS of a great deal folks,,,sorry to say
no more AB orders for me,,,anyways
chow!
