Thats a great battery but it is way too big for the SC. It was designed for 1/10 scale cars and trucks. It's weight alone is more than the cub and all it's gear....radio too.
Steer clear of that one, Kevin

Also a battery question. I want to stay with NiMh batteries for now. What companies make a good pack, say 9.6v 1400 or 1500mah. Looking for a quality company with good customer service and been around for awhile. I've heard bad things about batteries made in China and don't trust EBay for that reason. Would also like to deal with a real person on the telephone. Anyone have a good experiance like this to share, or know of a company with a very good reputation, or a high quality product? Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys. Cheap Battery Packs were out of the Elite's, so went with Clipper's suggestion. I was impressed with OnlyBatteryPacks, but also out of stock, but they show a discharge rate. Anywhere from 5A to 30A for different packs. I haven't seen others talk of discharge rate, so what does our 480 motor like? I'm guessing 20A? Still a little lost with this electrical stuff, but can remember volts=power and mah=fly time. Anyone explain the Amp thing. Maybe how fast the power is delivered?

Your stock motor will only draw 12-15a.

So when given a choice of a discharge rate, what works best? Many choices here. www.onlybatterypacks.com/items.asp?db=10 So would a pack with a 30A discharge rate run down faster, or burn the motor up, or would the motor only draw a max if 15A. Just trying to understand and thanks. Hig

i have no idea. is C the same thing as A? i have 15C lipos. C is just the discharge rating. going over is okay, but going under will ruin your batteries from being discharged too fast (more power than their rating)
