It would not hurt anything to do that. It will however take about 5 hrs to charge your 1250 at that rate and 2 hrs to charge your 480. Always remember not to exceed 1c while charging. 1c means you can charge it at it's full cell rating. if it's full cell rating is 1250 then charge it no higher than 1.25a. Kevin
