Can someone explain to me what function the jumper has inside the super cub and why do people take it off when they use lipos?
thanks

The jumper is used to control low voltage cutoff (LVC). When using a lipo you want it to cut off sooner than with the NiMh so we pull the jumper and the LVC is now set to 8.8v This is marginal as heck but it works. I would suggest using a timer to set your flight time. It is much safer for your pack and will pay off in the long run. Typically lipo's like at least 3-3.1VPC at their bottom end. If you continue to drop below that charge it will harm the life of the pack permanently.
