Beginner Cub Owner

I Have been reading the site for some time, and I want to make the plunge and make my cub more powerful, I have read about lipos and the danger that may occur while using them So I am thinking of staying away from them unless someone has a pretty straight forward way of caring for lipos.

I am interested in the 8 cell upgrade but I am not sure about everything I will need to accomplish it. which battries/charger

I would love to hear some suggestions on what would be the easiest way to get more power and some longer flying time as my cub has some trouble climbing in the air with the stock battery. Also if anyone has specific links to the products and everything I will need including chargers that would be awesome!

This forum has been great to read since I have been lurking but now I need help ;D

I wonder if your SC is properly adjusted. I'm not sure what kind of climbing you are looking for, but as a point of comparison, at full power, with a fresh stock battery, flying level, my SC (plastered with tape) can squeak-out a loop.

I can also loop if i dive alittle first to gain speed but I feel it needs more power
