As far as I know, the best deals going right now are at CommonSenseRC.com. No-nonsense batteries, good quality. I'm actually planning to order some more once I get a little more cashflow.

I wouldn't call these a 'deal'. $70-80 for a 3S 2000mAhr pack is not that cheap. You can get a Thunder Power Xtreme 3s 2070mAhr pack for $80 and those are highly regarded are they not? If you want to go cheap and are only going to do 15C on say a 2100mAhr pack or less (which should be fine for a Super Cub that is not flying like a Fun Jet), you can go with the United Hobbies 3S HXTD9 2100mAhr packs at $30 each. There are still some reports apparently of some QC puffing issues with these at high (ie 20C) discharge rates when they get quite hot, but used at 15C they will probably be just fine. A bargain IMHO for a parkflyer app like the SC. dave mc

Speaking of puffed cells. I have at least 8 packs that are puffed and was hesitant to run them at first. I now run them like any other battery and charge without worry. I do not leave any lipo's unattended when charging so they get the same treatment as a flat cell. I have not seen any difference in performance out of my "puffy" cells yet. I am however a little uneasy around them for some reason.....mental I think.

mrmugen,
Are those the enerland packs that have puffed on you?
