Lipo setup

Hey guys I bought some Lipos and just received them today. They have no connectors and thought I might just solder the connector that looks like the original to avoid messups and so I can still use the other stock batteries in the future.

Do you recommend this or should I just change them to dean connectors?

BY the way the batteries I bought are 16C 11.1V-1350mah, did I make a good choice for improving my flight time?

I dont even know what this will do to my cub, just wanted something that will give me more flying time at the field. Well I guess I have this weekend to work on it and if the weather is fine I'll try it out.

Congrats on the lipo's. The best way to go would be the deans ultra's. They eliminate error in the connection. You will get longer flights and increased power. I would say about 1/3 longer flights. Maybe even longer depending on your throttle management. I bet your wide open quite a bit just loving it. It took me a while to come down from full tilt once I found the power.
