Can I use my DC Peak charger on a NiCa battery? I just bought a used TX and it has a 9.6VDC / 900mAh battery in it. It says charge rate 18hours @50ma. Will my stock DC Peak charger charge it? Obviously I would have to make some sort of adaptor to connect it...

9.6v would be an 8 cell battery. The stock DC charger that comes with the SuperCub only charges up to 7 cells. The A/C charger that comes with it will charge 8 cells. I charge my transmitter batteries with it - 2500mah NIMH. Your best bet is to buy a decent peak charger like this one: www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCLD5&P=MLIt will do a good job charging all your NICD and NIMH batteries for you SC or other airplanes/cars.

so for now using the wall charger wont "hurt" the NiCD battery but its not optimal then right? I kinda of liked that MK II charger that does NiMH/NiCD/LiPoly for about the same price as that one.. I have to get an ESC and a few other things this paycheck tho... lol Charger has to wait a little while...
