Typhoone brushless. Alittle cutting to the factory engine mount and it bolts right up..........oh ya, don't forget to switch the gear from the brushed motor and then add some weight to the front of the cub because it allot lighter.
Speed control, receiver and servos too.....

You mean the entire system, gearbox and everything? The Cub is a 3:1 system. The Typhoon is a 8:1 system. One guy put in JUST the motor into the Cub GB and was very pleased with the performance until it burned up everything from too many amps and being grossly over-propped.
There are a number of people that have done complete conversions in this forum. Why don't you do a little reading.

No. Just modify the cub motor mount to mount the Typhoon motor onto it. All you do is cut back the plastic flang that surround the stock motor , enought to fit the Typhoone motor. Bolts line up ,just screw it on.....but don't forget to swap the gears.
I have this setup with a 3c Lipo x2=2000mah and I've replace the stock prop with a Trojan prop, this is a stiffer prop that mounts to the stock prop rod with a simple spacer.
If I have time I'll try to post some photos....

OK, just to be clear you ARE moving the Typhoon gears over to the Cub? That setup swings a much larger prop. Clearance for take-off OK?
As the motor is brushless you have to replace all the electrics too. Typhoon also or after market?

No. Remove the typhoon gear and replace it with the cub gear.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't too clear, explaining this.
I just removed the gear off the stock motor, and put it on the new Typhoon motor. This keeps the same 3:1 ratio .
It's an easy mod, and probably the best for the money.
