][/img] [/img]Hope I can get this to work I made a mount to put a 2409-18 Tower Pro motor on the cub .. It came out good I think .. Waited to post this till I tried it as I thought it might "Wobble" but it works great .. 1 pic shows how close to the front of the cowel it is and the other shows how it was made .. Pretty self explanitary (?sp<) used a piece of thin plywood mounted to the original mount holes .. Then a dowell was cut and mounted so that the motor shaft comes out of the cowel where it is supposto .. Whew.. Too Long lets see if I can get the pics up Thanks again for all of the help youv'e given me ... Don J.

That's nice. How did you get the correct angle on the motor mount?

I have the same motor but have not installed it yet.
I saw your post over on wattflyer.com and someone there mentioned that by cutting the dowel square, you lost the thrust angle adjustments provided by the black plastic mount in the stock set up.
Did you have to make trim adjustments? Does the brushless motor not need any torque compensation? How does it fly?
Yours is by far the best and simplest mount I have seen - I'd like to copy it but am worried about the thrust angles.
