After I crashed my Mixmaster I stripped it of its electronics and put them in my cub. I'm now running a brushless outrunner motor. wahoo I used a piece of marine plywood for the motor base and shoved pennies into it until I got just the right angle ;D. Then I epoxied them in and screwed in the motor mount. It's not too pretty but it flies GREAT! I can climb at a very steep angle with the new motor. In fact, I can climb straight up for a ways. I had to trim the cowl down and now it won't fit so I have to use packaging tape and it looks horrible. . .
