I'll just add, don't be put off by what could go wrong, think positively and confidence will help, assume it's all going to be great. I started last October and only had one nasty crash that broke the wing when the sun got in my eyes just before landing. (easy repair btw) Unless you fly where hghost does lol fly high where you have time to correct mistakes and I'd recommend hand launching the first few times then you don't have to worry about steering it as well as controlling takeoff. Have fun.

Crickey, magnetic trees everywhere :-) Interesting track(?) middle right looks rather like the outline of Africa but doesn't seem to go anywhere?

That Africa looking trail is odd...and when I went in there to see what it was...I never saw anything. The trails through the field right to left is where the Deer walked around.
All the way to the right is a tree line , next to the road( I have already put a few planes in there. )
Tree's on the edge at top and bottom and to the left is a large fence that borders a piece of land just before you get to the Interstate, it runs at an angle .So upper side ( top ) is wider than lower side ( bottom ) .
All the tree's in the center have been removed .Large area of grass cut and the rest I left as is, tall for a cushion. I have put many planes in that tall grass as well.
That was a Map shot from satellite sometime a couple years ago. Will try and get some pics from the field to show what I am flying in.

First day out flying today what a blast. I crashed once or twice or three times or well you get the picture. It was a little windy but I wanted to get out. I had to climb a tree, they are like magnets. The plane took some abuse but nothing broke and is still together to fly again.
