Crazy Horse... ahh, what you point out as secretive and aloofness, is actually the mundane weekly application of 1 main desktop, and many gadgets ( laptops, tablets, etc) and teenagers who have these items, but prefer the desktop. So I am at the arse end of the teenage list for use of the computer ( Even though I built the d**n thing!) So, I usually check in once a week or so. I want the 'new topics' back, so I can see whats happened in the week, help if I can, and spread beer lubricated vitriol to those who are less than helpful....

For those interested, I fortunately saved a bookmark to the recent posts before the board changed. it was (an still is): Newest Postsfyi, you can click on it in your favorite browser (I use Chrome) and save it in the quicklinks header of your browser until it is fixed on the forum itself.

Thanks for that, jk. I have done as you suggest and I am sure it will prove useful.

As members' locations are no longer shown alongside/below their avatars, can I suggest a workaround? Just add your location to your signature.

I had a play around with this and you can make your location appear under your avatar by updating your STATUS in your personal profile. It seems to work. Hope this helps. It appears that I am not as daft as I look/act/behave, etc. , Ah, the anaesthetic must be wearing off, time for falling down fluid then!

Good ideas, both of you. Thanks very much.
I wish I had been born clever, instead of incredibly handsome.

Clever chap! Thanks, Crazy Horse. Hopefully others will follow suit as it's nice to know where members are.
