They pale into insignificance when compared to the RAF. No offence, but you did ask.

Japan only has a defense force. The US provides most of the defense for their country. China has the worlds largest air force and I am sure India is very capable of defending itself against Pakistan. They all pale in comparison (technology wise) to other countries air forces....such as the British RAF, USAF, etc. The J-14 looks like a combination SU-37 / F-22. I would brand it a generation 4 stealth. I would also call it a copy of those aircraft. As you know, a copy is never as sharp as an original. Also, low frequency radar is capable of picking up stealth aircraft as was discovered during Kosovo in 1999 when the USAF lost an F-117 Nighthawk to SAM fire. In the end, it all comes down to the pilot...not the aircraft.

As I said, RAF pilots/aircraft are the finest, you may inflict casualties upon us, however, we will triumph over all adversity and WIN at all costs.
This has been our history and our mentality, we will never be beaten nor equalled.

What type of foam is it made of? ;D One should never end a sentence with a preposition. It is of course deemed acceptable in "modern" English to do so (note) , but not among those of us chaps educated in the traditional manner of speech by our esteemed masters and mentors. Ian, defence is the correct version no"s's", just like your old "z's". Only joking of course. ;D

CH, I am sure you are aware of the (possibly apocryphal) story of someone who, faced with a similar criticism to yours, wrote in reply: "This is the kind of pedantic nonsense up with which I will not put."Some ascribe it to Churchill, but apparently it predates him. My old English master empasised that our rich language is evolving constantly; if the people decide to use a particular construction, it becomes acceptable. Otherwise, we would still be speaking as they did hundreds of years ago. Innit! ;D

Otherwise, we would still be speaking as they did hundreds of years ago. Innit! ;D I totally agree my friend. A reasonable example is the word "do". This only came into general use within the last couple of hundred years or so according to a language expert who is no longer with us unfortunately. As in "They don't know." Before it would have been said, "They know not." I believe we both had the good fortune to have wonderful English masters instructing and encouraging us in our youth. Personally I find language fascinating, so much shared and taken from different countries. I just throw these little remarks out now and again to see the varied reactions, most of which I agree with and appreciate. As for dear Winston, I love the quotes attributed to him, a master of incisive humour, I have numerous books about him and his life.

Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.
Sounds like RC flying......

Absolutely correct. Anyone can deal with success, but it is how we deal with failures that makes us special. Character is shaped by the various adversities in life and how they are overcome. We are really going off thread aren't we?

Nah, you're right, Let's go for it, I like your style. BTW did I mention that we are having a new boiler fitted to our central heating system? The chaps I am employing seem to really know their stuff, good workers, tidy and all round good eggs. They will be completely revamping our bathroom soon, what joy! Huge shower area, beautiful fittings and tiles, whoop-de-doo! ;D As for dinner, we are rather slumming it, so tonight is fried eggs, (from our own free range hens, reared on the estate) chips (of course, from our own potatoes grown on the estate), baked beans (from a tin) and superb slices of ham, (from our own porkers reared on the estate). All cooked in healthy sunflower oil. A side dish of bread and butter. All garnished with sea salt and crushed peppercorns. Served with blood temperature real ale. How's that for going off thread? If it helps to get back on thread, we might have a curry tomorrow, possibly Rogan Josh, (home made of course, need you ask?) with basmati rice, (again from our own fields), mango chutney, (made with my own fair hands and unequalled as regards taste throughout the known universe), served with home made poppadoms of course. Sweet and sour chicken the next (home made) and Sushi for luncheon, (again home made). Cosmopolitan or what chummy?

Hmm, OK, Japan: basically an extension of the US Airforce, but based in Japan, flying US planes with little yellow fellows in the cockpit ( This is not a racist slur: they are small, yellow in colouring, and they are all male ( there are no female pilots in the JSDF)) They are also they most disciplined and serious of the three. India: Older soviet era planes aplenty, as well as the harrier and basically anything else they can find. Worlds largest democracy I disagree! China: Weell, Hmm..J10, J20, Huge country, huge military, lots of US dollars due to the trade deficit (Trade deficit: you ( the US) buys 100 toys from china. To make it fair, china says it will buy 100 toys from the US. The US sells 100 toys for S100 to china. China changes its mind, and only buys 10 toys from the US - $10. Trade deficit. -$90.00 . Times this by billions, and you are up sh*t creek! Which is where you're at now! As of march the US trade deficit with china is at 69 billion dollars! In the UK that's at 31 billion as of march 2013! US fighters ( FA18 super hornet, F22, and newer planes all have Chinese electronics ( GPS/ Targeting/ low light) We all buy cheap and cheerful Chinese copies of ESC's and RX's ( hands up who has an Orange ( Hobbyking) receiver in their planes? I do! But we are paying for their super aircraft. Despite how badly you think your government treats you, we are guilty as well. sorry for the political bollox, but that's where the money is going. China has the best aircraft, we haven't seen them yet, but they were bought with our money!
