Warmest weather here for 6 months or so. T Shirt and shorts weather outdoors, so had a burst of energy and decided to polish the boat and clean the covers ready for her dunking. She should have been on the marina berth at Easter, but with the diabolical weather......... Oh and if you think plane propellers are expensive I just ordered one for the boat - £130. An expensive contact with the river bank last season. Anyway I digress.......Got the covers off and went indoors for my Brekkie (bacon and sausage sarnie ) Sat listening to a bit of Henry Purcell in the conservatory while munching my sarnie and enjoying my coffee in the sunshine when it turned very foggy. Twas not your usual fog, it was yellow. The wind has got up and whipped up a dust storm from the bare fields surrounding us. Boat is covered inside and out with a very fine sand..every single surface. Ran outside to fit the covers again and I'm also now covered in sand. Everything around the house has a gritty feel to it. Another weekend of long put off boating jobs spoiled by the english weather - you can't win. That is not fog, it is sand. If you look up the sky is blue.

Is your Super Cub safe? Then all is well with the world.

Sod's Law strikes again.
As the dust storm gathers, perhaps the theme from Lawrence of Arabia would have been more apposite than Purcell! ;D
Oh, and it seems as if God has forsaken his "own county" . . .

Lady CH is rather perturbed and feeling slightly responsible for your demise. You see, she is related to Purcell and hopes that you will not blame her in any way.
As an aside, do I detect a heated greenhouse with lighting that you have there?
