Yep, Long time no see. Happy new year to you all! Hope yours was as good as can be!
Unfortunately, mine has been....not so good.
I was fired from my job, and to make matters worse, it's a case of unfair dismissal. Not so much me whining and moaning, but the whole thing being railroaded, and then being given a hearing 24hrs after recieving the papers...and then finding out the decicion was made at least 24hrs prior to the hearing! ( The hearing was at 3.30pm, they had phoned for a driver for me at 9.00 am the previous day!)
AND... to make matters even worse, the UK's weather system has be at it's most awful in the last 100 years, so going flying to calm down hasn't even been an option!
If you feel an urge to donate a million or so to my fund ( No reason, I just want to be rich!) feel free!

Ian, thanks for the PM, mucho appriciato! Fingers are crossed for the appeal. I got an email for the higher ups, saying they were looking into it, and an appeal date should be forthcoming!

On a lighter note, I've been playing about with the parkzone micro SU26. Brilliant bit of kit, and as long as it's calm, all I have to do to go flying is cross the road! Bit happier now!

Not sure whats happening in seattle at the moment, Fritz, but here in the holy township of Huddersfield,, we've just been told that the mild winter we've had so far (AV 9 degrees celcius), is due next week to plunge into minus figures, with sleet, snow and more snow forecast (although, with our weather dudes, it will probably be hotter than the sun next week!)
