I've picked up some new planes and helicopters and haven't flown the SC in a while. It looked kinda lonely so I took her out flying this morning. Here's the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=it_XC7SPwjEWalking back to my car, an older gentleman, who was out for a walk, stopped and asked me if the SC was an 'electric'. He built and flew gas powered planes many years ago. I showed him the LiPo and the two keychain cameras mounted on the wings. He was fascinated by the newer technology. We had quite a conversation. Really nice guy! It was a truly great morning I won't soon forget.

Love it when that happens! I had a gent watching my brushless twinjet, and once landed, came over and started asking about it. In the following conversation, he said 'That engine is really quiet, isn't it?'....' Oh' (says I) 'That's not an engine, It's an electric motor!' Then I showed him the motor, lipo, esc, etc.... He was amazed... used to fly control line in the 60's, and radio in the early seventies, then gave up, as there was no where to fly and no one to fly with (sounds familiar....) He was amazed that something so small could fly so fast and for so long on one small tiny battery.....after that, we may have a new member soon!
