The video is less useful than you maybe think. It appears to me you still have steering control?
Power did cut out (wind noise kind of screws up the sound track) but it sounds like it came on again. Did you throttle off and then try on again?

Flydiver,
Believe it or not, I loss both power and steering. My plane has that innate turn that I couldn't seem to trim plus the wind helped steer too. I was chasing the plane and trying to make a connection. I got some and then loss it again hence you hear the throttle start up, I jammed the elevator down then the motor died again. I got lucky. The plane made a nice turn and landed by itself. Gotta love the SC. hehehhe

LVC should have left you with control but not throttle, so not that. You either lost RX or ESC, or a physical loss of electrical connections. Check ALL the connections thoroughly.
IMO the ESC on the SC is the weakest link in the whole package. Doesn't really matter much since they are a combined unit. If you don't find a connection problem, call Horizon.
Then I suppose you start preparing your upgrade since you can't trust the stock electrics anymore.

Flydiver...
I think you are correct with the ESC call. After listening to the video several times, I do think I had steering control because I can hear the servos going as I was trying to get connection. The throttle was not engaging.
Dang it. Any advice on the next RX and ESC move? I think I'll stay away from getting the HZ RX/ESC package.

It appeared to me you had steering, but that's not an easy call off that video.
There you go....the upgrade conundrum. If you swap out the ESC + RX and keep the motor you got to get a BRUSHED ESC and Spektrum (compatible) RX. Most of the brushed ESC are not very good, but there might be some for sale in this group for cheap. Hm, I have an 18A somewhere.... A more complete way to go is total upgrade. There are HOARDS of suggestions and ways to do that in the forum threads.
