I got my SC about a month ago, and i've only flown it twice because of the weather. Every day i go out ready to fly and its either windy or raining. Weather is bad here in Jacksonville NC!

Same here. except I've had mine for 9 months. Over the 9 months I've had about 40 flights on the cub. Thats only about once a week. I wish I could get out there more often, but the wind keeps me in. Looking at the forcast, 15- 20 mph tomarrow, and tuesday the same. Wednesday is supposed to be 30mph! That's iowa for you.

The weather here is bad here too, but there are breaks occassionally. If the wind is low I'll fly, which is usually at the crack of dawn. I'll fly in the rain, if it is not too bad. It is a blast to fly in the snow. In any case, it is always cold. I quit flying when my fingers get cold and start to hurt. Flying is just too much fun!

Is it bad that ive started dreaming about my cub when ive not been able to fly for a while or is this normal It helps to have a number of planes to work on. Consider getting a plane that can be flown indoors and outdoors. Although it is not as much fun, I do enjoy the challenge of flying in windy conditions. Or, get a kite and work with Mother Nature. ;D

I flew the other day in -18c. That's about 1 degree F.
It was beautifully calm day, and the Cub flew great!

In medina OH here it's either too windy or below freezing in which I'd rather not fly, however I'm going out to the school to fly in a few minutes as it's just right, right now.

I haven't been able to fly here in Portland, OR for over a month because of weather. Either too windy, rainy or both.

"I cried when I saw the man with no shoes, until I saw the man with no feet." I've been complaining about not being able to find a place to fly, but after reading your posts about not being able to fly for months, because of the weather, I need to quit complaining. Our weather in San Diego, CA is fantastic, but it is hard to find a large area to fly. I just started flying last month, so sure I'll come across a good place in east county, but it hasn't happened yet. My problem seems smaller after ready your posts however.
