These cheesy struts always used to break off of the wing part of my SC... SO i came up with a simple fix! All you need is a rubber band. SO what i did was put the rubber band through one of the little holes where the hooks go. Then on the side outer side stick the hook through the rubber band and put the the hook through the hole like its supposed to and pull the inner side of the rubber band taught. then pull the rubber band into the other hole and poke it through. Then do the same thing and the struts shouldn't fall out. Mine never do with all the loops and what-not that i do. It should look like this on both sides. I don't really know how to post pics so i apologize for all the links.

Yes, that's a clever idea. However, if (before your rubber band mod) you were hooking your struts into the wings in the manner shown in your third picture, it's not surprising they used to fall out. The strut hooks should be pushed through the holes, not merely hooked over. That should secure them adequately. See this thread, study the very helpful diagram there by ginginho: supercubclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=ts&thread=4394&page=1(Apologies if I have misread your picture!)
