I don't know if this has been posted before, but after a few broken fingernails and nearly ripping the plane apart when the connectors finally released, I put these handles made from nylon cable ties on my EC3 connectors. The one on the radio side has to slide in sideways because of the gap. Regards, -Peter Attachments:

Having the same problem disconnecting the connectors, my solution was to purchase a set of cheap snap-ring pliers, and file the tips to fit within the connector slots. Since the pliers jaws open when operated, I simply insert them into the connector slots, and pop the two halves apart.

I like your solution too, Crusader. I may have to add snap ring pliers to my toolbox.

Being a newbie, I'm still looking for one. I haven't made contact yet, but there are several local clubs.
