I found this tip elsewhere, so I cannot claim credit for it. Very simple and cheap lights to put on your wing tips. If you paint them red and green (for port and starboard) they make simple navigation lights. But even if you leave them white, they will help you to see your plane's direction when the light is fading at dusk. They are sold as keyring lights. They have a switch to leave them on. For your Super Cub, buy two. Get rid of the keyring, then tape (or glue) a light to each wing tip. They weigh hardly anything and have their own battery. Whenever you wish, just switch them on before takeoff to have your cheap navigation lights! Here are some of them for sale: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Bright-White-LED-Light-Torch-Keyring-Campells-/300578903385?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&var=&hash=item8bb3df8e05
