Out earlier in the day with the radian (In between bouts of work). Plane out, put together, TX on, battery connected, beeps, and ready to fly. Out to the field, full throttle, launch, and nose in straight to the ground! WTF!! Throttle off, and go and see what happened! My own fault...Turned on TX, connected battery, but what I hadn't noticed ('cos I didn't Check) Is that the DX6i had reset the elevator servo to full down (Don't know why, yet, but model memory seems to have re-centered the servo, as the elevator was perfectly set last time I flew it). The point is, I was in such a hurry, I forgot to do a 2 minute check.I'm now waiting for a new prop adapter (Thankfully the only damage). If I'd taken the 2 minutes, I could still be flying now!

The school of hard knocks (and crashes) has imbedded in me that I MUST do a check before EVERY flight, even a battery change.
After a crash or hard landing everything gets a thorough once over, maybe 2-3x over, and the pre-flight check is even more critical.
