Ive got the newer model = LP which comes with a lipo batt. Ive made the hole as shown in the vids and it slots in nicely but there is a lot of play up and down so to speak. The velcro keeps it from moving sideways but i`m worried it`ll bash the top of the wing on a heavy landing ??!
Any ideas chaps ?

Hey, Paulie, you've got me confused, never mind the OP!
Are you suggesting he glues foam to hold the battery from jumping vertically?
If so, how will he get the battery out again?
FWIW, my instinct is that he need not worry about it jumping up and hitting the wing. Loads of people have used this mod and just rely on the velcro - unless others will say I'm wrong???

I just attached a piece of velcro to each pack, and the hooky type of it to the wall of the battery box. It holds them well enough. I flew once with a pack that wasn't pre-velcro'd, just after take off (steep climb) I lost control of one aileron. Getting it back down was interesting. The pack had jumped and knocked the servo extension cable, unplugging it. I've not had this happen with a velcro'd pack.
