I needed ESC/Receiver CH 3: SC LP HobbyZone HBZ7353 but I odered HBZ7153 CH 3 reciever by mistake. The only difference is the batter connectors and a jumper. If I trade off the battery conectors will this work ok?

supercubclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=batt&action=display&thread=2924From that thread... [When the jumper is present the auto-cut is set at about 5.7 volts, which works with 6- to 9-cell Ni-MH battery packs. When the jumper is absent, the auto cut is set at about 8.8 volts, which will function correctly with a 3S Li-Po Battery.] So yes, you'll be ok, but use a 3S battery and pull the jumper, or use NiMh and keep the jumper. edit: Don't use a 2S, as the 5.8V cutoff is too low for a 2S and the 8.8V cutoff is too high.

The two ESC/recievers are identical apart from the battery connectors, you just need to remove the jumper if you're flying Lipo. I got this info from the australian distrubutor a while back when HBZ7353 was out of stock, but they had HBZ7153
