Ebay Upgrade kits

I was looking on Ebay for a done up Super Cub to get ideas and came across these "Super Cub upgrade Kits" This could be an easy option for people wanting to easily give their Super Cub a "makeover"

The specs for this show that the motor and mount is 2.25oz lighter (63.79g) so I don't understand why the seller says that it can be directly mounted, wouldn't the plane be tail heavy because the plane is now 2.25oz lighter at the nose

I'm not sure whether the Aileron upgrade kit comes with the fully upgraded wing, or if it is just the parts to upgrade the wing yourself, it shows step by step methods of how to do the mod, so it may just be the parts.

This kit seems to be an easy option for upgraded, and I think would be a good option to save time, not necessarily money.

You can mount your battery vertical and as close to the front as possible to help with the weight. Also you can mount the ESC in front to help with weight and to keep it cooler

The wing is not included in the aileron kit. You could put this together a lot cheaper through Headsup rc or hobby king

Yeah thats what I was thinking, at hobbyking, the HXT900's are about $2 each if I remember, and hinges aren't hugely expensive, so you could put it together for much less that $30, also with the BL motor, easily put that together for less than $65, although if you wanted to save time it may be a good option
