Hi all,
Rather than continually adding my new in flight videos to my "my new cub" thread, I'm making this thread here that I can add them too.
Here's a video from this morning, taken about 15km from my house, in a deserted area called Pt Gawler. The winds were pretty fierce, and I was reluctant to put my cub up in them at all, but after my mate flew around a bit in his MIG without too much trouble I decided to take mine up too...

what the hell happened at the back end? Coming in to land...bounce, back to airborne again, land....Car!!! Had me waggling my thumbs trying to control it!

Two of my mate's planes got smashed that day! My next landing was perfect, but the video didn't turn out well, the strap from the GPS got in the way. The first approach came in short, but wide open throttle was BARELY enough for me to get it airbourne again and come around for another try. It turned out the best way to land it in heavy wind was with a fair amount of power without putting down the flaps: |

A few of the latest Vids. In all of these, the motor is performing with the bent shaft that's making the bell wobble a bit. Still pretty good performance huh?

Some night flight videos.
In this one I get the cub about as high as I can, I think it was about 500m up. The plane hits battery cut off while at this height and glides down.
In this video I do some landing practice, and some general fooling around.
