One tip/warning about the unit. It has a tendency to spontaneously turn it self on. When the battery gets low it sends you SMSs every 30mins, which could potentially use up the credit on your sim card. When your not using it, safest thing is to take out the battery. What type of batteries does it take and how long do they last? John

Aaaaaaah I see, understood! On that note, couldn't you get a PAYG sim on the same network as your other sim with an unlimited txt deal or free cos its same network to same network. We get alot of deals like that here. John Nah, I have my mobile phone with one of the best (and most expensive) service provider in Australia. They don't do PAYG, and their cheapest pre-paid option is $30 which expires after 3 months. As I don't see myself using $120 credit on my GPS sim per year it seemed a bit of a rip off. The GPS tracker runs off of a BL-5B mobile phone battery, the same the old nokias used to take. According to the instructions, the 800mah batteries that come with it should get 48 hours use, but I use an old nokia phone battery that I think has more capacity. Either way, 12 hours is ample for what I need it for. If you're interested, here's the instructions for it: Attachments:
