someone down at the field said i should grease my gears in the motor mount now and again..but i would worry about dirt getting into the grease i just wonder if you really need to do it...also i've read alittle about the water break in...my motors got over 50 flights in it so its broken in but i also read something about cleaning the motor these way..i wonder how to do that..alittle help would be nice thanks !!

As for grease, yes it's a good way of getting grit to stick to places where you really don't want it. A good tip I read about lubricating things like this (it was for U/C bearings but is similar) is to take a pencil, keep rubbing it in on a piece of paper for a while, et voila! You have a pile of graffite filings that make a very good, dry lubricant. Apply whereever you require it. ;D

You can also buy a tube of graphite lube at most auto parts stores.
