stick mount questions..we have answers

i have tried everything i had around here to make a desent motor mount..old gear box everything ..so i thought stick mount ..the little gray thing that comes with towerpro ..so what i did i took a long piece of balsa from some other unfinished project..and stuck it throught the complete air plane ..i will have made a solid mount and made the cub stronger ..it really was cool that something i did to that thing worked ..

That's a great idea but I think balsa it too weak. I would have used a softwood square instead or, even better, a carbon fiber square tube!

what about a nice hard wood dowel,and where can iget a poly carbonfiber square tube..??

A dowel will work but you have to square it up to work with most 10mm mounts. I've done that for a motor test rig.

You should be able to get a harder wood square at a hobby shop or some hardware or art stores.
