I have some rc nav lights that can be powered by an open channel, could I just plug them into where the optic sensors for the ACT are plugged in?

I would rather not plug them into the xport, but is there enough power (if it would work at all) to plug it into the small ports for the optical sensors used for ACT?

Hi there From what I can gather if you were to use the ACT sensor connectors as a power source you would have to have ACT switched on, even without the sensors attached just by having it on would lower the control throws. Check out this thread where ginginho talks about this ...... supercubclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tt&action=display&thread=2953&page=3Hope this helps. I dont know if there is a way of utilizing the ACT power without it being switched on as such? John

I got the lights today and tried it, it worked, but not enough power. They were so dim I could barely see a blinking in the LEDs.
