The clear packing tape that everybody talks about for reinforcement, is it the same as sellotape?
The only packing tape I have seen is always a kinda mushroom brown or white with a storage company logo printed all over it.
Any brands etc would be very helpful.
Thanks, John

Not the same as sellotape as far as I know, sellotape is for stationary and paper and stuff like that. Packing tape is much stronger, it's for wrapping around palates and boxes and bundles of wood, stuff that needs to contain a lot of force. I think that generally, sellotape is much narrower as well. I usually use a cheaper brand myself, but 3M is one brand I can think of. You should be able to buy it from most large supermarkets, and just about all department stores.
Mind you don't go overboard on the tape towards the tail, it can really throw off your center of gravity. Medical, first-aid type paper-tape is a good lightweight alternative too.
