By the way...iM InSaNe! yeah...those are three inch woodscrews into foam... yeah...there's 5... yeah...thats bluecore... And this mod acctualy works! no interference with electronics or wires or anything! I think it's at least as strong as any other batt. box mod out there, and its quick, cheap, and it the unlikely event that it must be replaced all I need to do is fill the holes with gorrilla glue and drill new pilot holes!!! ~lEgOt~

Pardon my ignorance, but what's this mod good for if you're still using a 7-cell NiMh pack? It fits in the original box just fine.

well' once we order the parts for my dad's Goldberg eagle 2, ill hane some 2200 mah lipos in the mail. I was also seeing how much it effects the cg with it there. I havnt been using the stock nimh, i've been using an 8 cell nimh (this one doesnt fit horizontally) because it wouldnt fly with the 7 cell. BUT! just over an hour ago I reprogrammed the lvc on my esc to lower the cuttoff, so now it might work.

Well, in THAT case ;D Did you make room above the box for your new, taller needs? And those screws are overkill, dude; they just add weight! Nothing a little CA couldn't have fixed...
