Hi all, new to the forums. Thought I'd share my brushless setup.
I'll start by saying the motor is a Scorpion SII-3008-1220 Outrunner and is said to be
a E-Flite Park 480 1050Kv alternative. The Scorpion is a 32A 425W beast.
I just installed one of these with a Dynam 30A ESC using a 9x6 Master Airscrew prop.
It comfortably flies on 1/4 throttle and can go vertical at 3/4 with elevator input
but the wings flap around quite a bit at that speed unless you fabricate better struts which I have.
I used the same mounting method as alot of people have in the past but I use perspex
instead of wood or PCB board.
