Hey guys
I was thinking everyone is upgrading there cub brushless, but we all know that means changing all the electronics in the ol' cub. Well I do not want to put that time or money into my cub.
I am running 11.1V 3S 1800mah Rhino lipos, and GWS 10x6 props. Anyone every just put in a better brushed motor? Is it possable? can the ESC/RX handle it?
I would like to do this if it is possable. Would like to get a little more out of her if I could.
Thanks George

Someone has to have thought, or done this, due to the fact of having to change ALL cub electronics.

Don't know anyone that's done that mod. Once you go through the bother most folks just do the complete change. I suspect that a more powerful brushed motor would be A) heavier - possibly creating a CG issue. B) end up taxing the ESC since the stock 480 on lipo is kind of pushing the limit. And....I have no idea where to even get one. Car outlet?

I concur with fly, the stock 480 on lipos is taxing about as much out of the stock electronics as you can expect them to withstand. I doubt that you could find a better motor that wouldn't use any more power.
