I've been flying the SC since March of this year; about eight months now. I've had two. It is my first and only plane. I love the Cub's scale appearance and smooth flying and now that I have a BL Super Cub, it's even more fun to fly. But I'm ready for my next model. I'll be dishing out some saved up green for the holidays and I think I deserve a nice new toy. I have been considering some very nice and popular after-SC models like the PZ Trojan and Corsair, the new PZ BF 109G and other E-flite models. I love the Trojan and I think this is the number one candidate for me since it's tough, easy to repair and still packs a punch in the air. The BF 109G is my next choice but I'd still rather have the trojan. I have had my eye on the E-flite RV-9 for a while and I just love this plane's curves and extreme detail more and more every day. I feel very confident I can handle a sport plane like this one. I have seen many videos of it fly and it looks very good and tons of fun but I've yet to see it in person. I was wondering if anyone here has flown it or seen it fly and your thoughts on it? I'd love to experience a balsa and plywood ARF. Is this a good next plane? Am I jumping too far forward? www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=EFL2775

Hey killioughta,
Go ahead with the Trojan. Almost everyone, newbie or experienced has one and will recommend the same. Once you get a hang of the trojan, you'll have no problem with the RV-9.

I most likely will; I just want to get feedback on this model. It just looks so good.
