I am thinking about installing a brushless motor. I have 2 that I am not using. One is an E flite 400 the other is an E flite 10. One is on the verge of to small the other is overpowered. Anyone flown a cub of either of these motors. No sence in spending money if they have been tried and tested to work.

I have heard of people upgrading to the eflight 400. Apparently, even though it's smaller that the stock SC motor, it's still more powerful.

60buick I'm flying with an E Flite 450 and slowly tearing up the airframe (makes me want to fly like the Super Cub wasn't meant to fly). The 400 should provide plenty of pwer for scale flying and then a little extra umph... PS If you get a couple extra bucks burning a hole in your pocke check out this, www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the-1526/Power-Up-450-Sport/DetailI haven't tried it, yet...
