Hello all...
This is my first post so bare with me...
I am wanting to up grade my Cub to the same power plant as the Parkzone T28 Trojan. I have looked at tons of posts on here and all are very helpful. But as I am very new to this some of what is said is over my head. I am wanting the most bang for my buck when it comes to motor, ESC and batteries for the upgrade. I have the original transmitter and radio I want to use but I want the same power plant as the Trojan. I have been told to go to Hobbyking.com for good prices. But one problem I cant seem to match up the specs with what the Trojan has. The numbers on the motors, props ESC and things like that don't quit make sense to me.
If there is someone out there that has upgraded to the same power plant as the Trojan please let me know what exactly you purchased from that site. Reason i want all the same stuff is after my super cub is all used up....I want to buy the foam for the Trojan and transfer the electronics and build it that way...
Please let me know if any of you have done that....
Thanks...
Jon

I'm also interested to find out if anyone has used the motor from the T-28 in the SC? As I gain confidence in the T-28 I'll upgrade the SC for my boy. He has some stick time already and will soon be ready to upgrade motor. The LiPo has forever changed my SC and my boy is hooked. Just wanting to $pend wisely.
Does anyone know of an after market aluminum motor mount that will work with the T-28 motor. Found a few on eBay just confused by all the numbers and such.

Well some flying friends of mine have done this upgrade using some small washers and the P-51 engine mount as that is the bird the motor came out of. They both upgraded their P--51's to 35-36C. Having seen these 2 cubs in the air, one word "WOW".
Go for it! I'm waiting for my shipment on the slow boat to get this going myself. BTW they are both using the stock Trojan prop. Time to get out the knife.
