I am looking to buy this battery but I am wondering if it can be fully charged with either battery that comes with the hobby zone supercub?

The wall charger will do it in a couple of hours. The 12v charger won't touch it.

I thought it was the car charger that gave the better and fuller charge, not the wall charger?

I thought it was the car charger that gave the better and fuller charge, not the wall charger? Common misconception about slow chargers vs fast/smart/dynamic/delta-V termination chargers. As stated the charger has to be capable of charging the load. In this case the 12v charger cannot charge 8-cells, the wall charger can. Delta-V means 'change in voltage'. The charger has a mechanism to see when the battery is getting full and shuts down. If it works right it gets it right. If it works wrong, and PZ chargers are notorious for getting it wrong, it terminates early and doesn't charge properly. The number of PZ chargers with this problem are legion. On the other side if it doesn't turn off it can over charge and ruin the battery if you don't take it off. This problem is potentially true for ALL Delta-V chargers. As batteries age, the internal resistance goes up and problems with premature termination increase if there is no adjustment on cut-off (most of them). Slow chargers like most of those tiny wall warts you have charging phones and stuff all over the house take HOURS to charge the device. If properly designed something like 15 hours. They charge so slowly that excess charge is mostly harmlessly absorbed by the battery as minor heat. The PZ wall charger is in between. It is NOT a slow charger nor is it a Delta-V, it's a medium charger with a timer on it. It does NOT have any sensor or termination other than the timer, if you trust that.
