Before investing in this, think "Will I ever move to LiPo or LiFe??" If so, don't bother with that charger but find one that will charge those too. Plenty of good chargers out there capable of charging all common battery types...NiMh, NiCd, LiPo, LiFe, Lead etc etc...

I 2nd that.
Too bad the PZ chargers are lousy and limited to 7-cell. Frustrated newbies end up shelling out for 8-cells and a charger that they will then abandon when lipo is discovered.
This should be in [Chargers]

Well I 3rd that then. If you plan to only have the cub then maybe NiMh is right for you. However if you plan to get further into this hobby (which is hard not to do) then a more versitile charger is the way to go. Many good chargers out there.

I agree but I just do not want to deal with the added headache and expense of the LiPo as they get eaten when abused like I do so well. I fly till the plane will not climb and only fly once a week (kids and wife) so I do not have a lot of time to take good care of my batteries.

Its only 20 somethin bucks....buy it. Later you can buy another. In my opinion its good to have a couple of chargers around and for that cheap why not.
