I think I saw somewhere that someone had used a switch to select a "Lipo" or "Nimh" setting for use with the Super Cub (based on idea that the LVC jumper is used to either make or break a circuit). Maybe a switch could be sited on fuselage side,etc.
Could this be done? What sort of switch would I need?

It could be done. But i am thinking it would take a slector type switch. (I would have to think about it a little more)
There is a write up on this though that some one did it, I cant remember where it is. (I think ampaviators.com) Some one else will have to chime in.

solder a wire to each pin, then put one wire to each contact. just make sure that there is no continuity between the contacts in one position, and that there is continuity in the other position.

hate to say this once you start flyin the Lipo's you are not going to want to use the slow Nimhs batteries anymore, better off to sell the and buy a couple more lipo's thats what I did. George
