Had to add the Butcher bird to the hangar. 55'' Wing span Comes with fitted retracts. This is the electric version with lipo hatch. Motor mount comes with the kit. Started the build and its been the easiest so far. There so much room. This is the largest plane I have put together and everything seems huge

Very nice! I just got the Kyosho P-40 "Trixie" EP version 56" wingspan...the Butcher bird looks to be of the same quality!

Nice indeed SCC. I assume the table was only used for the photo shoot. I bet your missus wouldn't be too chuffed if you used it for the build too

Hi Nick That table has been the work bench for all my builds. It does get covered with a blanket and normally the missus is out. ;D I must admit most of the build for this one has been at my mates house. His table is wooden and doesn't show up the scratches, plus the Epoxy and CA are free ;D Alex. They are great quality. I think the Trixie or the Hein will be my next Kyosho. I have decided to use two servos for retracts. This way I can slow them down and stagger them. Unfortunately you cannot do this with a retract servo. They have 2.8 kg of torque each, I'm hoping they will be good enough for the job. Here they are in action. vimeo.com/4434619

they look nice, I like the additional cover over the wheel, I was wondering what that block of ply was for, now I know. Took a look at your other videos, what happened with the sea furys? I saw one do a dive into the ground (and you or your mate jumping as one horses into the turf as if the ground shakes! was it a mid-air collision???

Nick. That was me jumping in the vid It was a mid air and they came down together. The other vid titled ''Seafurys are back'' was the next flight the furys had. I have still got mine, unfortunately my mates one is no longer here, they do not like rugby posts too much ;D Duck. I will definitely give a flight report. Got to get a 5S lipo and a receiver pack and she will be ready. I must cut the lawn ;D
