I really like the GWS props. Very strong and work well.
Well all I have to do now is spend some money, and wait I guess

That will depend on throttle management. Even going at WOT and using up a lot of juice I get 15 minute flights, when I settle down and stick to a plan I stay in the air for a good 20 minutes or more. The other day I flew with a 1300 mah and 1550 mah battery, was in the air for a good 50 minutes (hefty winds and I did "soar" around quite a bit) but it was fun and the batteries came back with plenty of volts left. PS Was using a 450 brushless motor and a 10 X6 prop

Does anyone know if the Turnigy Accucel-6 50W 5A Balancer/Charger comes with a cigerette plug to use for charging? That way I can do away with ordering a power supply. Does any of the cheaper lik 5-10.00 chargers listed on the hobbycity site work "well" recomendations? I really want the Turnigy Accucel-6 50W 5A Balancer/Charger but my total is steep for me with shipping. I need to knock it down some. If I can do away with the power supply that would help. d**n money, never enough, I hate being responsible Thanks guys

it will more then likely come with alligator clips to stick on your battery. you can make one up cheap though, if you have a radio shack, or even a dollar store you can find the car plug or something with a car plug you can sacrifice.
the cheap balance chargers they have for like $10 work well, but will be slow as they have a fixed .8amp charge rate i believe, they are the same thing that came with my esky lama heli and i still use it when i have time to spare.

First thing is to fit the deans to your ESC/RX, make sure you get the polarity right Depending on the size of the lipos (I don't have any of these ones) you may get away with them fitting into the battery box without any modification. If not, you'll need to cut some of the battery box to allow them to stand upright OR hollow out an area to the rear of the BB to allow enough room to fit them horizontally. Of the two options, the first is probably the better as it'll allow you to fit bigger batteries without further hacking at your plane. I'd recommend taking the BB out of the model if you do go for this option, the plastic it is made of is very brittle but quite tough, you'll struggle to cut it in situ and may cut more than what you want to, if you slip Amongst the many useful vids that NECubflyer has on Youtoob, one is to mod the BB to allow for lipos.

I have not seen a dean type connector in person, which of the metal plug tips is positive & which one is negitive? (the vertical or horizontal tips, typically whats what, or does it just depend on how they come soldered to the battery?)
Thanks George

The top of the T is positive (red). Most of them actually have a tiny symbol stamped on. Battery gets the female so you don't short things with exposed prongs, ESC the male.

Now I know I need to remove the jumper from the RX. But when flying do I need to keep an eye on anything (battery wise) or is liek the stock, when she gets hard to fly and slow and sluggish, bring her in and change her up?
Thanks George

the hxt deans from hobbycity have the polarity marker on them so no worries there. lipos can still deliver a lot of current when they are dead so you won't notice as much of a drop off as you would on stock batterys. it will do the same thing in you fly to cut off the motor will stop.
