hi everyone - got finished with the major decorating job so am back. Still not finished the aileron mod but am taking pictures. I was at the local flying club the other day and a guy was trying out his powerful Electra that had a new motor fitted. He trimmed it for level flight at full power and then cut the throttle. The plane CLIMBED! He said the angle of the motor was set too far down so the elevator trim was fighting this down thrust. As soon as the power (and therefore the thrust) was removed, the plane, although it was slowing down, would climb. It was noticeable because the plane had a lot of inertia and was going fast. I wonder if the cub would do this or is it so light and with so little inertia and speed that you wouldn't notice any "glitch" if the motor angle was wrong. Retiredbri (but not from decorating it would seem )

Hi Bri I would say the cub would react exactly the same.
