Hey guys I have a channel 1 radio and today I went to throttle it up and the throttle broke off. I took it apart and glued it up but did not hold. Anyone have a fix? DO NOT SAY UPGRADE THE RADIO lol I do not have the money and this is for my fathers plane, not mine.
Or does anyone have a channel 1 radio they want to get rid of?
How is hobby zones customer suport? will they come good for the radio?
Thanks guys

They have to replace so many radios, that it's almost automatic that they'll send you a new one. The didn't ask me for any proof of purchase nor did the want the old one. They probably have a pallet of them boxed up for just that purpose.

I never had this happen and haven't seen one that has either. Looking at the stock radio on my daughters SC I would have to say try drilling a small hole that is about the same size as the thing you pin it with.
Basically just drill both halves and pin it with some kind of wire or cf rod or anything that will add the strength of pinning then glue it in place again. try to remove as much of the old glue as possible.
Just a thought, Kevin

That happens SO FREAKING OFTEN you would think they would FIX it. Ignoramuses. Someone up high is not listening to the guys on the front lines (AGAIN).

You are correct my friend. I asked them if this "problem" has been addressed and all he said was that they are "radio's are fragile" and he does not know of any thing changing to fix it.
Is there problems with the Spectrum D6i? Because the first thing they ask if you are calling about that radio to press 1.
